68020 MICROPROCESSOR BOARD FOR A MICROWAVE INSTRUMENT

A 68020 microprocessor board design was designed. The embedded control processor was the CPU board for a laboratory instrument. This card was a higher-performance re-design of an earlier product in addition to consolidating another PCB into the design. All the glue logic was packed into two Altera 160-pin PQFP EPLDs using VHDL. Tools used included Altera's FPGA development software, Timing Designer and Viewlogic schematic capture.
